Festival Highlights

The centrepiece of the program is a special concert by world-renowned Polish jazz pianist, Leszek Możdżer, on Saturday, 20th September at 19:00 in Belltable Theatre. His music combines classical precision with improvisation, creating breathtaking, mystical soundscapes.

Other festival highlights include:

  • A premiere composition by Paddy Mulcahy and Greg Oleksewicz,

  • Jazz and live performances by Kasia Eliasz, Gordiy Starukh, Dora Gola, and Seven Nun-sins,

  • An interactive Singing Circle led by Anna Banko-Szumacher.

Visual Arts and Workshops

The festival opens with the Lelujowa Exhibition at The Hunt Museum – “The Tree That Speaks”, celebrating traditional Polish paper-cutting art. It is complemented by Wiki Urawska’s “Folklor” collection, inspired by Polish folk costumes and the landscapes of County Mayo. Attendees can also join workshops with Ukrainian artist Daria Alyoshkina, a master of monumental paper-cutting, learning her unique “tear-cutting” technique.

Theatre & Performance

Highlights include:

  • Premiere of the documentary “On Our Terms” with a discussion panel,

  • Magical family performance “Crazy Chronicles from Wonderland”,

  • Reading of Sławomir Mrożek’s play “Tango” by Bottom Dog Theatre,

  • Monumental performances by The Big Hat Company, including Twilight Feathers.

Family Activities

PAF Kids Day (Saturday, 20th September) offers fun for children, including the interactive play “The Enchanted Forest”, hip-hop workshops, and a treasure hunt.
